MULTITASKING 5-AXIS
Machining with a Multitasking 5-axis machining center allows us to work on complex pieces efficiently and accurately.
The “5 axes” are the 5 directions along which the cutting tool can move, individually and continuously. On a 5-axis machining center, the cutting tool moves along the linear axes X, Y, and Z and rotates on the axes A and B approaching the workpiece from different directions.
Thanks to the ability to move along the five axes, Multitasking machines can reach 90% of the component, reducing the machining time on the piece and improving the quality of the finished product that does not need to be worked on multiple workstations.
