BUSINESS STABILITY
MECHANICAL COMPANY SPECIALISING IN THE PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY ENGINEERED COMPONENTS
The company was founded in September 1978 under the name of TOR-MEC Bianchi Luciano, and its production was dedicated to mechanical parts and small mechanical equipment.
In 1985, the company passed under the direction of Ezio Bianchi, Luciano Bianchi’s second born, whose work is always followed and supported by his father.
Nowadays, the company is known in the market as THOR-MECH and offers excellent services thanks to a highly qualified staff and a fleet of high-tech machines and software. We aim to support the customer in every project phase, from the prototype to the production of the required component.
We work with C.N.C. machines and traditional machining tools by certified procedures.
We are willing to give evidence of our corporate financial stability because we want to demonstrate transparency and commitment with facts.
We believe investing in certifications, staff training, machinery, and software updating is fundamental because it helps us to give stability, method, and structure to our company.
We also consider our staff training very important because we know how crucial it is to keep up to date to stay abreast of industry needs: this is why we have a very low staff turnover.

OUR LEAN PRODUCTION
Thor-Mech has embarked on a transformation path to promote a culture of continuous improvement and waste disposal.
Here are the principles behind our LEAN PRODUCTION:
MEASUREMENT
Without measurement, there is no control and improvement.
Being aware of where you are and where you can improve allows us to maintain an innovative spirit in the continuous search for excellence.
PLANNING
Planning is fundamental to delivering a precise and correct customer experience.
Also, to be a reliable company, we manage workloads and monitor process progress and delivery dates. And have precise control of material and treatment suppliers.
STANDARDIZATION
We standardize our internal processes to face market challenges in a coordinated and effective way.
For us, it is essential to have defined a shared method in the design, processes, materials, and workspace management.
