MOTORSPORT INDUSTRY

MECHANICAL COMPANY SPECIALISING IN THE PRODUCTION OF HIGHLY ENGINEERED COMPONENTS

TM

THOR-MECH has accepted challenges in developing racing components for the motorsport industry
and it has produced specific pieces and aftermarket spare parts for amateurs.

As motorsport enthusiasts, at Thor-Mech we spend lot of time in manufacturing high-tech components that can meet the expectations of industry operators.

Our goal is to be able to actively develop new solutions for the motorsport sector by producing parts whose characteristics contribute to the improvement of the performance of racing vehicles.

For this reason, most of the components we produce for this sector are processed through multitasking machining centers: these allow us to process complex three-dimensional parts and ensure greater precision in the machining phase.

Our ideal sales order

At THOR-MECH, we give our best when we receive requests for medium-small orders, with a maximum size of 300X500 diameter or 1500X700, with high technological content. Thanks to our multitasking machining centers, we can realize and deliver from 20 to 1000 pieces per month, managing to be competitive in the market of interest.

MULTITASKING DONE IN ONE: OUR LEADING TECHNOLOGY

With a 5-axis multitasking machine tool, you can process the 5 sides of a component with a single setup, which gives us a high degree of flexibility in producing parts with complex geometries.

Thanks to the ability to move along the five axes, Multitasking machines can reach 90% of the component, reducing the machining time on the piece and improving the quality of the finished product that does not need to be worked on multiple workstations.

The use of Multitasking technology is what has allowed us to take a further step forward in the processing of complex parts, making our production more efficient, precise, and flexible.

5-AXIS MACHINING TECHNOLOGY IN MOTORSPORT PARTS PRODUCTION

Multitasking machining centers can be used in the motorsport industry for producing high-tech parts such as braking systems and chassis components, gears, and other mechanical elements.

To be more specific, multitasking machines can be used to create custom parts for racing cars, such as aluminum or titanium components, which are lightweight, performing, and wear-resistant.

5-axis technology is also used to design spare parts or create prototypes of new components. This is possible because it is a very flexible technology that makes it possible to process complex and not complex three-dimensional mechanical parts.

By using multitasking machines for prototyping, industry designers can test new ideas or make changes to existing components more quickly, properly capturing industry needs.
