5-AXIS MACHINING TECHNOLOGY FOR INDUSTRIAL AUTOMATION
In the industrial automation field, multitasking machining centers are fundamental to performing reverse engineering machining aimed at digitizing, creating, or improving high-tech components installed on industrial machinery.
A multitasking machine can be used to analyze and scan the shape and size of an existing component, or to create the CAD models needed to produce new mechanical parts.
In the case of obsolete parts, however, a multitasking machining center can use the CAD data of an existing part to create a new, functional, and performing copy.
